In the sacred work of birth, Jesus is your rest and renewal.
‘Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened,
​and I will give you rest’ (Matthew 11:28, NIV).

We are a midwife and a doula, sisters in Christ and daughters of the King. Together we have attended over 1,200 births and taught hundreds of students in childbirth classes. We know the joy and the exhaustion of this sacred work.
If you are weary and longing to bring more of Jesus into your life and into the lives of those you serve, you are not alone. He is the Living Water who refreshes, revives, and restores. The gifts you carry were placed in your hands by God for His purpose, and He is ready to renew your strength.

Hi there, I am a Licensed Midwife, Certified Professional Midwife, and owner of Moonbelly Midwifery Services and Lynden Birth Center. I am also is a carpenter's wife, mother of two grown daughters, a hobby farmer and mama to a couple of sheep, a whole bunch of chickens, a handful of turkeys and a wild and wonderful chocolate lab. More than anything, I am a follower of Jesus. He found me when I was lost, lifted me up, and gave me new life in Him. I am forever grateful for His mercy and love.

Midwifery is not just my calling—it is His gift. I often feel His presence in my work, guiding my hands and surrounding mothers and babies with His care. Even in the quiet hours of the night, He is faithful and near.

The Lord has also placed on my heart a passion to teach, write, and encourage. My desire is to share with midwives, doulas, students, birth workers, and mothers how to invite Jesus more fully into their lives and practices. He is the best news I have ever known, and I pray all I do points back to Him.

The Heart Behind Devoted Ministry of Childbirth

Every piece of Devoted: Ministry of Childbirth was born out of mercy — out of the place where God met me and gave me back my breath.
What I offer now — the courses, the writings, the prayers — is not expertise alone but gratitude made tangible.
I believe birth is holy ground because the Giver of Life still walks among us.
And when we serve families, teach birth workers, or simply sit in the stillness between contractions, we are standing in the echo of creation itself — where His presence hovers and new life begins.
May every heartbeat of this work whisper the same truth:
